Returns & Refunds
As a small company run by Canadians, it is important to us that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. To achieve this, we take a lot of care with quality at the front end, before shipping to you. Our ultimate goal is that you receive the item of your dreams, without any defects or surprises.
Sometimes things out of our control happen, so we know you may need return an item to us, or cancel your order. If this is the case, please see below for details about our returns, refunds, and exchange policies. We have tried to make this process as simple as possible for you.
Our returns, refunds and exchange policies apply in the same manner to both regularly priced and sale items.
1.1 Our return policy is valid for 14 days. If more than 14 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
1.2 Within 14 days of receiving your order, you can return any item(s) that you are not 100% satisfied with for a full refund.
1.3 To complete your return, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what the problem is. Include your order number and a photo of the item in the email, so we can understand the issue and quickly process your request. We will reply with a pre-paid return label and shipping information so you can send the item back to us at no cost to you.
1.4 To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and still with the original packaging. Even if you opened the packaging before you decided to return the item, please keep all of the original packaging and return it to us along with the item.
2. Refunds (if applicable)
2.1 Once you have shipped the item, just send us confirmation and we will process your refund back to the original form of payment. For confirmation of shipping, we need to see tracking details showing acceptance of the package by a carrier, or a receipt with weight and dimensions of the package. You can take a photo, or scan and email the documents to us - whatever works for you. In some cases, we will be able to look these details up ourselves, and no further information would be required.
2.2 As always, even if we process a refund within a few hours, it may take some time to appear back in your account. We can send details of the refund as soon as it is processed on our end so you can rest easy that your money is on its way to you.
2.3 Many of our payment options have built in buyer protection, including Pay Pal, Google Pay and credit cards. Please use this as a last resort dispute mechanism, not as a first resort to request a refund.
2.4 We will process your refund back to the method of payment you used. This is the only option we have, and cannot refund a PayPal payment onto a credit card, or vice versa.
3. Exchanges (if applicable)
3.1 We will replace items if they arrive to you defective or damaged. If you need to exchange anything, please email us at email@example.com and we will arrange return shipping for you, as well as process an order for your brand new item.
3.2 The new item will ship to you in about three weeks as it is an entirely new order, and is processed within that time frame. You can check out our Shipping Policy for more information.
4. Gift Returns
4.1 Please ask the gifter to email us as above, and we can process the return and they receive the refund back to their original form of payment.
4.2 As with any returns, we can only refund the form of payment that was used to place the order. This is because of privacy and security built into our https website, and we have no option to make exceptions to this.
