
If you are interested in making your own cheese or tofu at home, then this set is all you need to get started (as well as the edible ingredients, of course!). It doesn't look fancy, but it functions remarkably well, and drains the curds as well as any nicer press that I have used.
Once your curds and whey mixture is ready, you just use the cheesecloth to line the box, then pour the mixture in. I recommend using an elastic band to tie off the top of the cloth, and watch the liquid drain out. Once a majority of the liquid is gone, put the lid on, and a small amount of weight to press more liquid (whey) out from your solids (curds).
